You understand the concept. You write the essay yourself. You can talk about it. You actually learned literary analysis.

"Write a paragraph on the causes of climate change."
Generic paragraph. You turn it in. You still don't know why CO₂ traps heat or what a feedback loop is. It'll show on the test.

"Explain the greenhouse effect to me like I'm 16. Then tell me specifically why CO₂ traps heat — what's the actual physical mechanism? Then what's a feedback loop and give me one real example."
You understand the science. You write the paragraph yourself. You can answer follow-up questions. You're ready for the test.

⏩ Skip Mode
"Write about the causes of World War I."
MAIN: Militarism, Alliances, Imperialism, Nationalism. You memorized an acronym. You don't understand why any of it actually led to a war.
⬆️ Enhance Mode
"Help me understand the tension in Europe before WWI. Why couldn't countries just talk it out? What made the assassination of one person trigger a world war — walk me through the actual chain of events and why each step was almost inevitable."
You understand the logic of how it unfolded. You can explain causation — not just list facts. That's the skill that shows up on essays and tests.

Notice what Enhance Mode prompts have in common: they ask for understanding, not output. They say "explain," "help me understand," "walk me through" — not "write this for me." The goal is to learn faster, not to skip learning.
